My journey with IDP began as a counsellor when Intake was acquired by the company. I still remember joining Intake as a fresher not too long ago and receiving such a warm welcome to the working world. I'm proud to have successfully made it through yet another transition period into the amazing IDP work life, with everyone making sure I was in good hands and guiding me through every step.
My IDP team members and managers have put in massive amounts of effort to ensure Intake team members settle in. They are incredibly supportive and always available to answer our queries and help us tackle challenges. The transition was so seamless – we literally went from the 9th floor from our Intake office to the 6th floor into the IDP office. I've received excellent guidance from everyone I've interacted with.
As a counsellor for the UK market, I have monthly targets to keep me motivated. What I love most about what I do is interacting with new people and learning about their study aspirations. I enjoy socialising and connecting with people and getting to know them to help them on their journey. I also like keeping myself updated about different universities, courses, and about the education industry which is constantly evolving. There is always something new to learn!
To sum up - ambitious students; an ever-evolving industry; my lovely team members; inspiring leaders; and that sense of purpose and fulfilment that comes with every student I am able to guide. These are the reasons that make working at IDP an incredible experience and make me want to come in to work every single day.
