Beant Kaur shares with us about her role and why she loves working at IDP!

"An organisation that ensures to take care of you while you are busy working hard, achieving goals and taking care of your family is irreplaceable! 

IDP is truly an extraordinary employer! Mental health and wellbeing of the employees is always a priority here. It's amazing to see a company that understands the importance of work-life balance and supports their employees in such a meaningful way. IDP sets a great example for other companies to follow. Additionally, it promotes an environment where one has constant access to resources for skill-enhancement. These, indeed, are the reasons that have always motivated me to bring my whole self to work and that too with a peaceful mind, smiling face and motivated heart. 

I have been with IDP since February 2019 wherein my journey has been a great one! I intend to celebrate multiple jubilees with this organization. 

Commencing my ride as a Senior Invigilator in CDIELTS (Computer Delivered International English Language Testing System) test centre in Bathinda, my learning journey began from the very first day when I felt a special connection with the organisation. Later, I got an opportunity to work as a Brand Ambassador-IDP India in May 2022 which got me to the next level as I was able to polish my writing skills and enhance my creativity in expression, further helping me create my own visibility and earn recognition. I got promoted in July 2022 as a Test Sitting Administrator in Computer Delivered IELTS test centre Patiala where I had the best experience and team bonding that I will always cherish. 

Next in line was my expression of interest to work in IELTS Operations, for which, in September 2023, with the support of my seniors and mentor, I got the opportunity to work as a Team Leader in Jalandhar which is again continuing to be an exciting learning phase.  

At IDP, I have been provided with an environment of mutual respect, growth, care, and endless learning opportunities which makes it an excellent workplace giving me a meaning and purpose.

On a personal note, here are a few hobbies that I enjoy: 

Reading takes me on exciting adventures, allowing me to explore new worlds and meet fascinating characters stimulating my imagination and broadening my perspective.  

Drawing is a wonderful way to express creativity bringing ideas to life on paper.  

Calligraphy is like an art form of its own. The elegant and precise strokes create beautiful lettering and designs. It requires patience and attention to detail, resulting in stunning pieces of work. 

Each of these hobbies allows me to explore different forms of creativity and self -expression. They provide an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and ideas.
