In creating a world that is safe for everyone, we all have our own roles to play. When your home is not safe, we encourage our team members to seek help at your second home, IDP. Whether it’s you or your colleagues going through the unfortunate situation, this is to help in any way possible. Often times, it takes just a little courage and a little support to make a big difference in someone’s life. Whether you are a victim or a witness, you CAN break the cycle.

“If Earth’s history (were) compared to a calendar year, modern human life has existed for 37 minutes, and we have used one third of Earth’s natural resources in the last 0.2 seconds.” This translates to industrialisation and deforestation at such a rapid pace that it accelerates our already massive CO2 emissions which, in a crashing domino effect, leads us to the greatest threat that we face - climate change.
Every one of us accounts for around 11 tons of natural resources. And they say that by 2050, this number could be twice as much. You can make a difference to our planet’s future. We all can. With one small step every day – let’s together save the planet and keep it a liveable one for our current and future generations and for every living thing in our ecosystem.
This, in short, is what #ItsUpToMe is all about. It’s up to you. It’s up to all of us. To step up and drive change. To not be a passive stander by.

To help drive us forward and create an impact, we recently formalised the IDP Group Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Committee (IDE) - which will help us come together, lead the way and be intentional about creating an inclusive workspace. Standing members of the IDE committee are Georgia Murphy, Piyush Kumar, Harmeet Pental, Simon Emmett, and Rachel Collier.
Together, let’s invest in change, celebrate each other’s wins, question our preconceived notions, and take a perspective of empathy towards those around us.
