"Every day at IDP is different, bringing new, exciting, and challenging opportunities to learn, develop and grow. I am very appreciative of the fact that at IDP, we have access to opportunities that help us gain new, unique, and enriching experiences, which enable us to expand our knowledge in our area of work and interests.

It feels amazing to be part of an organization that has a bold vision and clear purpose to change the world through global education. The positive impact that my work has on the lives of students is not only deeply gratifying but is also a major source of motivation for me.

Managing robust marketing in a mature, competitive market like UAE and achieving and exceeding our targets is both exciting and rewarding. What I love the most about my role is that, as a manager, I help and support my teams to work towards achieving their goals and encourage them to use their unique skills to contribute to shaping and growing our organization’s future together. Also, my role enables me to make decisions in a way that works best for my team. This level of trust and flexibility allows me to be creative and innovative in my approach and empowers me to truly take ownership of my role.

The supportive and inclusive culture at IDP values and celebrates diversity. This fosters a positive and safe work environment, where everyone feels valued and supported. The leadership team here at IDP always encourage our people to lead a balanced life. They not only invest in our people’s growth by providing various development programs, but also strongly emphasize and take interest in our wellbeing, for us to be able to thrive and succeed professionally and personally.

IDP’s core values are reflected in all that we do, and I feel like I am part of a community of like-minded individuals who share a common vision and mission. At IDP, working with meaning is not just a theoretical idea, but in fact it is a huge part of our culture and values. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional services and support to students globally, in helping them achieve their global ambitions.

Here at IDP, we always believe that trust and transparency are critical to building strong relationships with our students, their families, and our partner institutions. Our commitment to integrity and honesty in supporting students fuels our success. We strive to maintain the highest ethical standards in our operations, and we hold ourselves accountable to our values and principles. Given that we place students at the center of everything that we do, it enables us to connect with our work with a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment. This approach empowers my team and I to work with passion and purpose, knowing our efforts positively impact the lives of students worldwide leading to greater success and happiness.

I define success in my job as the ability to follow my passion and interests without compromising, while simultaneously creating a positive impact in the Education field and gaining recognition for my efforts.

I take pride in the fact that I work for a remarkable organization that emphasizes and contributes to improving and enhancing people’s lives. I appreciate the immense opportunities that I have been provided with over the past decade at IDP, enabling me to advance my professional and personal skills and enhance my career trajectory.

I have had the opportunity to be the implementation lead for the country UAE for IDP’s Delight project. I am part of UAE’s LEAG advisory group, and currently leading several pilot projects in the region. I have also mentored and onboarded new and existing office managers for process improvements within the region. My team and I have won several Global Excellence and Regional awards. I am very proud of all that we have achieved as a team over the years - we would be running out of space if I had to list all of them here.

A fun fact about me is that I have the privilege of being a mother to a teenager son of 14 years and a toddler girl in her terrible 2’s. With a teenager and a toddler, you get to experience both ends of the parenting spectrum, from discussing complex issues with your teenager, to teaching your toddler to tie their shoelaces.

I enjoy the fact that my teenager son, is a walking dictionary, who keeps me updated on all the latest slang and social media trends. It is also interesting to watch them both interact and see them develop a special bond that will last a lifetime." - Sabina Crasto, Senior Office Manager, Dubai and Student Essentials Lead UAE
