IELTS One Skill Retake launches in India

12 December 2025The global roll out of IELTS One Skill Retake continues, having recently been launched in India. The first IELTS One Skill Retake test was offered at the start of June in our Bathinda test centre, in Punjab, and this option is now available in 47 test locations across India.
Vishal Gupta, Regional IELTS Director, South Asia & IELTS Shared Services, said “we are delighted to be able to offer Indian test takers the opportunity to showcase their full potential, providing them with a second opportunity to achieve their study, migration or work goals.”

IELTS One Skill Retake will continue to be rolled out across India and will be available globally throughout 2023.
