IDP Education has launched its new Document Management feature within IDP Live, making it easier for students to prepare their study abroad paperwork and store it in a secure location.

The new feature, available through the free IDP Live app, enables students to  upload documents from their phone, receive real-time feedback from IDP’s expert counsellors, store documents securely, and access them whenever they apply for a university course with IDP.

Neil Pearson, Chief Digital Officer of IDP Education, said IDP Live’s Document Management will save students valuable time as they prepare for their global study journey.

“Our students asked us to ‘make it easy’ for them to pursue their global study dreams. We understand that applying to study abroad can be an intimidating process, requiring students to complete a significant amount of paperwork.” Mr Pearson said.

“Document Management eases that burden by organising students’ paperwork and storing it in a secure place.

“Students simply need to  upload their documents using their camera phone, which will then be reviewed in real-time by their counsellor. The student’s counsellor will verify each document once they are ready to support their course application.

“Once their documents have been reviewed and verified, our students can use them for multiple course applications, saving them precious time.”

Mr Pearson said the real benefit of Document Management is that students get to spend more time focusing on the big questions they have around studying overseas, and less time on administrative paperwork.

“Our education counsellors are the best in the world. They know the university experience inside out. With Document Management now taken care of on your phone, our counsellors can spend more time helping students find their best university fit and guiding them through the study and in-country choices. Together with our unique FastLane offering, we’re transforming the student experience of studying abroad” he said.

“We are proud of our innovations that bring together digital solutions with trusted human interactions.

IDP Live’s new Document Management tool is a simple solution that is already transforming their application process.”

Since its launch, 832 students have already successfully uploaded almost 2,000 documents and 602 students have successfully submitted their passport documentation.

Students in regions where IDP has counselling offices can download the IDP Live app free from their smartphone’s App Store and begin searching, applying and preparing for their dream study experiences now. Learn more here: https://www.idp.com/global/app/
