IDP board succession: Anne Brennan and Tracey Ah Hee appointed as directors

IDP Education Limited (ASX: IEL) today announced the appointment of Anne Brennan and Tracey Ah Hee as Independent Non-Executive Directors. The appointments form part of the Board's ongoing renewal and succession planning process.

Anne Brennan is a highly experienced director with significant expertise in finance, governance and risk management. Ms Brennan’s appointment is effective from today (14 September 2026).

Tracey Ah Hee is an experienced director and brings decades of expertise in data and analytics, digital transformation and customer experience management. Tracey will join the board in November.

Commenting on the board appointments, IDP Chair, Tracey Horton AO, said:

“Anne and Tracey’s appointments reflect the Board's ongoing focus on renewal and ensuring the right mix of skills, experience and perspectives to support strong governance and the setting and delivery of IDP's strategy and long-term success."

Ariane Barker and Andrew Barkla will retire from the Board at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Ms Horton thanked Ms Barker and Mr Barkla for their contributions to the Company:

“Ariane and Andrew have each made significant and valuable contributions to IDP since joining IDP in 2015. Over that period Andrew has served as both Chief Executive Officer and as a Non-Executive Director. Ariane’s tenure included serving as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee from 2015 to 2025. On behalf of the Board, I thank Ariane and Andrew for their dedication and service to IDP and wish them every success for the future."

Commenting on his retirement from the Board, Mr Barkla said:

"I have loved having the opportunity to be a part of IDP’s journey over more than a decade. The time is right for me to start a new chapter in my professional life and I feel comfortable doing so, with IDP having an exceptional leadership team, a strong and capable board and a clear strategy in place that is being well executed. Anne Brennan

Ms Brennan is an experienced company director with extensive expertise in finance, governance, risk management and capital management. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of The Lottery Corporation and GPT Group and has previously served on the boards of a number of leading ASX-listed companies across a range of sectors. Prior to her non-executive career, Ms Brennan held senior finance leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer of CSR Limited and Finance Director of Coates Group, and was a partner at KPMG, Andersen and Ernst & Young.

Tracey Ah Hee

Tracey Ah Hee is a seasoned executive and non-executive director with more than 30 years of expertise in data and analytics, digital transformation, business strategy and customer experience. She currently serves as a non-executive director of JANA Investment Advisers and FinClear. Tracey has held senior leadership and advisory roles across Australia and the United States and has supported organisations across the financial services, technology and professional services sectors.
